Amanda Brooks' Oxfordshire Home

Amanda Brooks has this incredibly cozy home in the Adirondacks…it’s kinda stunning. She’s written one of our favorite books on style, dressing, and finding your icons—I Love Your Style—that makes things easy in textbook style. Before that she was the former fashion director at Barney’s New York and creative director of Tuleh. She’s spent an entire half life in fashion…yet now lives the other on a farm in England. The Brooks opened their Oxfordshire farm home to Todd Selby to show how they live, what they love, and where they truly call home.

Brooks writes a lovely blog called I Love Your Style. Much like Selby’s photo-story for The Selby, I Love Your Style is an intimate peek into Brooks’ life in England’s countryside—food, fashion, farm life—all things we can get behind. But don’t let outward appearances fool you. Yes, Brooks is quick to acknowledge that it’s a beautiful life…but one that she’s worked hard to pull off.

Never has the "oversized ottoman as coffee table" looked so good and inviting as it does here in their living room.

Besides loving everything in Coco's bedroom, we particularly think the vaulted ceiling curtain rod mount is really great. And when it comes to ribbons and trophies, if you got 'em flaunt 'em.
