Ever since we met Peter at Sid Mashburn’s a couple of years ago, we've had our eye on his green corduroy trousers. The fit was impeccable. The extreme taper in the leg polished off with a cuff, so good. We came across a relaxed fit, wide wale cord trouser sans cuffs by Polo Ralph Lauren. They had potential. Though the silhouette wasn't to our liking, the basic shape and fabric were there. After specifying a tapered leg, 14” trouser bottom, and a 1 3/4” cuff with our tailor, he went to work. The result is a beloved trouser with Sid Mashburn undertones.
