The Vitals Preppy Guidebook

Prior to Lisa Birnbach’s much anticipated sequel to The Official Preppy Handbook, the now defunct Vitals Man magazine published a guidebook in the spring of 2005 that foresaw American pop culture’s revisitation to their on-again-off-again infatuation with preppy style (many of us would argue our relationship status never changed). This abridged enchiridion by Rosecrans Baldwin embodies the same spirit and execution as its predecessor. That the guidebook is still relevant half a decade later comes as no surprise; however, much like the magazine featuring the claw-shaped brass buckle, the website selling them has vanished.
